BPNIC Briefing, July 2007
The Brazilian government received with satisfaction the news
of release of 255 Palestinian prisoners by the government of
Israel, on July 20th.
The Brazilian government believes that gestures of this
nature will contribute to create a long-lasting atmosphere
for mutual confidence.
Brazil also expresses its expectation that an environment
favoring dialogue will contribute to improve life conditions
of the Palestinian people and to permanently cease attacks
against the Israeli population.
BPNIC hopes such statements by the Brazilian government will
contribute to strengthening the relation between the
Brazilian government and the Palestinian National Authority,
aiming at establishing an independent State of Palestine. |
