BPNIC Executive Director,
Husam Bajis during the month
of August toured the state of Pernambuco and Rio Grande do
Norte meeting with Palestinian-Brazilian owned companies in
order to establish relations with U.S. based industries and
begin export.
During the meetings, participants also spoke about the
situation in Palestine and ways to assist economic
development in the country.
In an effort to strengthen pro-Palestinian
interests in Brazil, Husam has also relayed a message to the
Foreign Office of Brazil on ways to promote relations
between Palestine and Brazil. The message was received with
great enthusiasm and as a result new discussions will take
place in the coming months to take commercial actions that
will develop initiatives to bring the people from the two
countries closer together.
BPNIC’s directive is to bridge the gap between Palestinian
nationals and the nation of Brazil by supporting programs
that maintain relations between Brazil and the Palestinians.
