The BPNIC student initiative is planned to develop Palestinian students’ awareness of foreign social opinion, judgment and position towards Palestinians in order to foster the Palestinian administration’s development and capacity building towards a future Palestine state. The initiative will focus on the present situation in the Palestinian territories.
The preparation work presented by BPNIC is providing the students with an outside perception of Palestinians, which will enable them to become familiar with international set of laws, conventions and policy.
Both the future state of Palestine and Israel will be influential to each other, and as a result BPNIC is noting down concisely how the current Palestinian areas under occupation are impacting Israel in significance to economy and political relationships.
During rigorous colloquiums, BPNIC will introduce and shed light on key matters in Brazil's social acceptance of a future Palestine state, to establish the essential state of affairs concepts related to foreign communication skills, leadership skills, relationships and policy. The colloquiums will be followed by further foreign exchange programs dealing with specific issues related to the Palestinians.
The foreign exchange programs are designed for Palestinian students, 13-25 years, who are presently living in the Palestinian territories or Brazilian students who intend to get involved with and who want to enhance their knowledge and skills with Palestinians. Students must be able to entrust themselves with social awareness responsibilities throughout the required 2-4 month period and to be ready to embark on once in a lifetime journey!
