Brasileiro de Interesse Nacional Palestino (CBINP), in English Brazilian Palestinian
National Interest Committee (BPNIC) is a grassroots movement representing the
interests of Palestinian nationals in
Brazil. BPNIC positions itself through accords and agreements the Palestine
Liberation Organization (PLO) formed on behalf of the Palestinian people living
in the Palestinian territories or in exile.
Founded by members of the
Palestinian Diaspora, the movement continues to gain support by members of the
Palestinian Central Council and the Palestinian National Council. We strive to
bridge the gap between Palestinian nationals and the nation of Brazil and ensure
that Brazilian support for an independent Palestinian state remains vital.
To ensure that
Brazilian-Palestinian relationship remains vital, BPNIC members work with
political leaders in Brazil, and provide lobbying services, namely promoting the
interests of Palestinian nationalists in the fields of legislation and
BPNIC works with Palestinian nationals and its current
large Palestinian community to improve diplomatic,
commercial relations between Brazil and the Palestinians. We are currently
working on bringing new
Palestinian students to the country through foreign exchange programs.
Students will come from Palestinian high schools in Jerusalem, the West Bank and
Gaza. We are also seeking to develop and establish new commercial and trade
ventures in Brazil and the Palestinian territories. Through the methods,
BPNIC hopes to further develop the notion, and eventual realization, of an
independent Palestinian state.
